Alkama AB was founded in 2004 with the ambition to provide effective, well-documented cleaning chemicals for professional use in demanding industrial environments across the Nordics.
We formulate, blend and fill our products in Sweden. Our most popular products, Pro-Clean 82 and Pro-Clean 82 Ultra, have for many years been used by professional customers in industry, workshops and vehicle care, among others.
We sell to businesses only. Each customer gets their own account with agreed prices, personal contact and access to up-to-date safety data sheets for the products they order.
From Stockholm to the whole Nordics
- 2004
Alkama AB is founded in Stockholm with a focus on high-performance cleaning chemicals for industry, workshops and professional users.
- 2014
Alkama acquires Itege and expands into the Finnish market.
- 2026
The next generation takes over. Founder Maria Strand retires and Alkama AB is carried on by her children, Sara and Fredrik Strand. The same year a new website with a digital order portal is launched, making it easier for customers across the Nordics to order products and manage their accounts.
